“The wine is deep purple, with intense aromas and one excellent graphite after taste. Flavors of creme de cassis, sour cherry, tea, tobacco leaves and herbal flavours come first. As the wine opens, it shows waves of cacao, espresso, sweet spices and a tone of violets add to its complexity. On the palate it has a supple nature. The tannins are grip with fine structure. “A powerful deep purple wine. The tannins are smooth and well matured. The alcohol level is quite high and very well integrated, adding weight and warmth in the palate. It shows a complex canvas of aromas and flavors reminiscent Bordeaux blends from Napa Valley. Black and dark crunchy cherries, dried nuts surrounded by Belgian chocolate, waves of ink and leather, tones of wild herbs compose a multi-layer character !!! Excellent work for cellaring”

“The colour is pale pink with orange streaks. An unfiltered rosé wine with finesse. The aromas are gentle, pink lady apple, strawberries and raspberries. As the wine opens, tropical fruit like mango, jasmine and a herbaceous tone add complexity. The mouthful is ethereal endowing an addictive nature. The flavours are intense and persist. Day5
Adagio

Date of release: August of 2021

Tasting note by Panos Tzimas MSc DipWSET, August of 2021

““Adagio” shows an outstanding balance between its structural components, creating a harmonious concert. It has a deep ruby colour and α very complex aromatic pallet. Generous fruit, black plum and pomegranate, fig, fruit cake, chocolate, vanilla, ink and leather are some of its flavours. The firm tannin structure and its supple texture result in an excellent mouthfeel. The prolonged aftertaste of mineral notes and graphite adds extra points.
