Deep ruby in appearance, Dame Rouge V offers a rich and concentrated aromatic profile. The nose reveals ripe red and black fruits—black cherry, blackberry, and plum— layered with notes of dried plum and well-matured fruit, reflecting the partial use of appassimento grapes. Subtle floral hints of red violet lift the aromatics, while oak contributes gentle notes of sweet spice and toast. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated, with a juicy core of ripe fruit supported by robust, structured tannins. The elevated alcohol is well integrated, adding warmth and depth without heaviness. The finish is long and persistent, marked by dried fruit, oak spice, and floral nuances.
