JIMA winery & Ambracian Gulf vineyards

The guests will have guided tour to the winery and the prestigious vineyards of Ambracian Gulf, where JIMA grows Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Vertzami. The visitors take a deep insight to our wine craft philosophy, walk around the vineyards, the production area and taste different styles of wines. The grange has rest rooms and indoor tasting area.

- Arta has a long history that dates to 630 BC. It was the first capital of Epirus and famous for its Byzantine Churches, the old castle and the stone bridge. (15 min drive)
- Ambracian Gulf is designated as a National Park as it is one of the most important wetlands of Greece with high ecological value. The remarkable habitats, resident and migratory birds, rare plants, animals, and fishes create a unique ecosystem. There you can watch more than 295 bird species. Moreover, the bottlenose dolphins well known as “dolphins of Ambracian” and the sea turtle are examples of rare fauna. The Gulf has been recognized as an Important Marine Mammal Area (IMMA) and an Important Bird Area (IBA). Important villages around Ambracian Gulf are Koronisia, Menidi, Bonitsa and Amfilochia. - West coast is one of the most beautiful coastlines of Greece, there you can enjoy amazing beaches, unique sunsets and fresh fish. Preveza, Parga and Sivota are three of the most popular resorts. (50 min drive)
- Tzoumerka villages are placed on the Pindus Mountain range. Their unique architecture, the dense forests, the rivers, the artificial lakes, the caves, the imposing canyons, and the rugged peaks offer a unique experience. Vourgareli, Athamanio, Theodoriana, Katarraktis, Pramanta, Syrrako and Kalarrites are the most important examples. (60min drive)
